Well, I am up half a pound today, but in full bloating sequence I am totally okay with that, we will see where I am in a few more days, this whole week is always a write off in my book anyway (not plan-wise, but scale-wise).
Today I again did really well, I had to eat a half a cup of cereal instead of one of my shakes this morning with some milk, it put me a tad over goal, but I needed some ibuprofen for my cramps and my doctor said never to take it on an empty stomach or you can get bleeding ulcers so I always take it with (real) food.
Other than that I was so proud of myself, there was pizza in the break room and everyone in my office area was enjoying it (it is from a really good, gourmet place) and I didn't even think about eating any of it... no I lied of COURSE I thought about it!!!! But the important part is I didn't give in. I was so proud. I did sneak a little piece of chocolate this evening, only to remember I especially bought low-cal hot-chocolate packets for this!!! Oh well, I was barely over points, so it is alright but I will not forget them tomorrow if need be!
I am feeling really good, I have been getting up earlier in the morning and feeling much more fresh, so maybe my body likes how I am feeding it right now. They say that generally rats have internal calorie meters and will usually limit themselves to a certain amount of calories per week. They even did experiments where they gave them tastier flavored food (same nutritional content) and let them eat as much as they wanted, but only one day a week and when they figured out the pattern, they would "save up" on boiring food calories all week so they could splurge and eat more of their self-imposed calorie allotment in the tasty food... this does have a point don't worry... anyway they have found that rats and mice that are fed 30% less than they normally restrict themselves to as a healthy amount (and yes there are over eaters in the rodent world as well, just not nearly as often as the human one) they lived quite a bit longer. That is the point, maybe eating only the amount my body truly needs is better for me.
Cheers to water week being over soon.
