Damn salt!

Well I am up two pounds today, but I am not fretting over it because I am quite sure it is water retention. I actually did a naughty thing this weekend, it was the last weekend before Biggest Losers at work and my friend who is joining along with me wanted a “last meal” so I made guacamole, chips, and we ate and drank and were marry pretty much all day on Saturday. There was so much salt and I drank a ton of water too because I was just so thirsty! I hope that it is gone in a day or two. I am back on track today and plan not to falter!

This weekend I was bad and didn’t post, part because of the party and the other day I sewed baby clothes for my brother’s little one who is due in three months. They are so cute little outfits, I will post some photos once I do all the finishing (probably over the next two weekends). I didn’t study enough, but I am going to buckle down and hit the books on schedule every night, that is my top goal this week.

As to the photos in my last post, I do realize I might not have my old body back exactly the way it was, because honestly I used to be a muscle machine and I probably weighed even more than I want to weigh, but was likely thinner than I will be at my goal weight, but I hope I can at least pull the bloody shorts up by then, even if they will be too snug to rollerblade in ever again.

Also I know it is not the most scientific way to measure progress, but I have my three way count - weight on the scale, tape measurements of body, and now my goal shorts, I will have plenty of “look how big these pants are on me now” items and I just wanted ONE item that I could use as a better visual aid to my progress than just the tape measure, if that makes sense.

Anyway this week I TOTALLY forgot to take a photo of my cooking before, but I am having Leek, Potato, and Turkey Bacon Chodwer with a half ounce of sour dough bread for supper:

...and my lunch Bento Box is sushi rolls (with reduced sodium soy sauce), mashed yam, and homemade coleslaw:
